A solid fourteen carat fine woven or braided band. This is a very simple study in the making of jewellery, but none less appealing. The process is to take a fine gold wire and wrap it around itself to complete the circle, finish it to conceal the seems.
Although simple in make these rings wear really well and are a great step away from a plain classic band. These could well work as a wedding band, or just to wear or stack. They come in just under 2mm wide, so fine, but not insignificant.
There are a pair of these available with one weighing slightly more than the other, both just under two grams, but both a finger size eight and one quarter. They are unmarked, but have been tested for fourteen carat yellow gold.
The condition is excellent. Made in USA, circa 1950's
